Who could be our media mouthpiece?

Horlock is a great shout but he wasn't a big enough name and has been out of the spotlight too long for SKY etc.

Currently there's no reason why the Goat couldn't get a push problem is he wouldn't follow the party line that they want for the armchair rags.

The other issue is that they've generally got to be British, or at least have an accent that's almost indistinguishable, like Peter Schmeichel. They generally don't hire foreigners as pundits other than for things like the world cup, even if they're fluent with a good accent. I think Lee Dixon is the closest we've currently got and he never even played for us.

Who the fook cares. In the end it's all about what happens on the pitch. Let Sky, BBC or ITV have their own cosy tearoom.
As to answer your question: Barton anytime. If I know he's on I would actually watch it. And one thing you can be sure of. He wíll tell it as it is, contrary to whoever is a pundit nowadays. And yes, even Neville who to loads seem the most neutral. Kidding ourselves again are we? We beat the scum 3-0 at their swamp, and to watch and see the faces of Neville and Scoles or Ferguson in the stands will make it all the more sweeter.

Can't believe no one has mentioned the obvious and outstanding candidate. Came up through the junior ranks, has a high media profile, articulate, outspoken and highly intelligent.

Bluemooners I nominate Mr Joseph Barton.
Ahem!
