The news has been telling us all week that it was going to be snowmageddon at the weekend, so it's no wonder a lot of people stayed at home.
The reality was that it snowed a bit. We've had much worse and bigger crowds. Most could have got there, if they really wanted to. The roads were okay, not great, but nothing like the frozen snow half a foot thick of the previous two Winters. Of course some were completely snowed in, nowt they could have done.

Drove in from West Yorkshire...left at 3.00 pm to be on the safe side...just walked through the front door now...long day but well worth it to hear the chorus of 'it's fucking freezing, I wanna go home' when the 5 min board came up...top result too.

Wonder how much an issue the snow would have been if ESPN wasn't putting on a free weekend.

Loved the whole day. The snow just made it better. Surreal scene watching City top in a snowstorm with groundsmen running on and off the pitch

Day didn't start well when I got hit with a rogue snowball on the back of the head, but I figured that was my bad luck out of the way and so it proved
