who do we need???

I'm watching Mangala and Fernando now for Porto v Napoli

Porto 1-0 up, but Mangala has made a couple of big mistakes in the 2nd half and got away with it. If this is anything to go by, he's not the finished article by any means

Isn't he ancient now, Chiellini?
29, left footed, plays a high line and would play well with Kompany and he's still absolutely world class imo, not ancient, he's just been in their first team since he was about 17.
Fuck me that makes me feel older than I already fucking feel! I thought he was about my age, (36). Bastard!

Fucking old ****.

Hummels or Vertonghen, I'd say Zaba is fine as is Kolarov. Maybe Shaw if the price is right, but not if he's gonna cost £28 million. We'd probably need a new backup keeper for Hart to get some competition with. I like Costel but I don't think he's gonna hand around, should be a regular starter at a Mid/Upper-Mid table English club. Valdes is out of contract in the summer and he's decent.

Of course Messi would be nice too

Here'd reports we were after Tiote from Newcastle, il just state this now that if we sign him then ill be driving my car straight off a bridge.

Agree with all this. Pantilimon is no way near to being city's number one so should move on. I'd love vertonghen at city, class player.

we are now a cash cow for others to milk, any transfers we attempt for established players such as Hummels and Chiellini are going to cost the earth (what's new?)

City will have a very very tricky transfer period ahead of them in the summer as many teams see them as a threat and will not sell and many of the European based owners do not want Arabs being the best in European footy (sorry if this seems dramatic but it is true - no source to back that allegation up!)

City will have to go for lesser known talent with one, maybe 2, marquee signings. Hummels would be good if the price is not exorbitant.
35 million euro is the asking price for Hummels, around 20 mill for Chiellini but he might not leave Juve.

Buy both then............simples

The only thing that Manchester City and Pellegrini needs is time for work and improve.
I have followed Pellegrini since Villareal and i saw this before, also in Malaga happened the same history.
Pellegrini is a manager that is always working, i mean all the season, and every year his teams play better than the older.
I'm sure that we are going to win the league, but also i'm pretty sure that the next year is going to be the best year of the club.
Just remember to give time to managers that work with the time.

PS: sorry about my poor english!

We would have to sign lot of players if I would be Txiki thats for sure.:)

Would show the door to them: Barry, Lescott, Sinclair, Rodwell, Clichy, Richards , Boyata, Dzeko, Garcia. Even if we would sell them all the fees wouldnt be too high.
Barry, Lescott, Boyata=free
Dzeko 15m at best. 12m probably.
Garcia 10m at best. 8m probably.
Rodwell 6m probably.
Sinclair 4m probably.
Clichy 5m probably.
Richards 8m probably.

40m income maybe 50m if Txiki negotiates well. But this case we would need sign at least 4-5 home grown players to make up the quota numbers. That would just create some extra problems for the transfer window.

Probably we will keep one of Richards/Clichy, and maybe Garcia. But Rodwells chances are zero anyway here, and bringing in a player like Fernando wouldnt make it bigger.
I have had enough of the injury prone players that are injured about 75% of the season and half fit when they are not injured. They are basically just after an injury or just before an another one. You cant count on them. They never hit form for this reason. Would let other clubs have these problems not us. Rodwell and Richards are the two main players I am talking about. Jovetic too but he just came this season, but if keeps this unreal form of getting injured every time next season too we have to sell him 2015 summer probably.

It would be fairly big traffic, so dont expect it will be like this, we wont bring in more than 4 players probably, but I would be more drastic as we need a very good squad able to count on squad players when they have to jump in and we cant do it with Rodwell, Richards, Lescott, Boyata, Sinclair etc. They dont have those qualities we need.

We've been given a proper lesson this year by Bayern and Barcelona, so the club should realise that buying more mediocre players is not going to close the gap in any way. We've three genuinely top players (Kompany, Silva, Aguero) and we need to ensure that they feel that they are playing alongside people of comparable quality, because regardless of tying people down on contracts and public utterances, of loyalty, these are the three players who could walk into the teams of Bayern, Barcelona, and Real, and those teams will all want to improve. I don't want to lose any of them, so we need top quality, since it could prove even costlier in the long run.
