Agree with you there Jim. I would love to see tottenham vs liverpool and chelsea vs arsenal and we can knock out the scum!!!!

No, but wishing for the rags or arsenal, home or away doesn't make any sense to me. Get the easiest draw and progress, hoping the other premiership sides all draw each other.

Home draw; not too bothered who we get. Be nice to see some of the "better" sides drawn against one another though, to get rid of some of the competition!

Sort of goes back to what I said pre season

Supposing we do get good cup draws and make it to a quarter and a semi.

Two good cup runs!

And supposing we also finish 6th in the league - in Europe!

We are already shaping up to view that as a good season when in fact it would be a gross underachievement. A failure.

FFS. None of the top sides put out a full strength team in the Carling. Yet we already hoping to avoid their reserves so we can stagger into the next round. Says a lot about how much expectations have been lowered!
