Who has had the best window?

Everton by a country mile, the vastly improved the team and still turned a profit! But we did pretty well too!

Tottenham, Liverpool, Everton and then us.

Tottenham selling Bale for 85m was brilliant business and they reinvested that to give them quality and depth all over the pitch with Paulinho, Soldado, Eriksen, Lamela, Chicheres, Chadli and Capoue.

Ozil is a great signing for Arsenal (the best of the window) but they still failed to land a holding midfielder and perhaps another striker. Cesar or Casillas would have been far better alternatives to Viviano too.

I think we sold well and spent well - early, on areas that needed reinforcement and on quality players. Though Fernandinho for 30m may be far too much I think he'll prove to be an important and successful player....though Paulinho for 18m does seem like a much more sensible signing (he's better, cheaper, more defensive-minded and younger).....
