I like our buys. I also like the fact that Chelsea are putting most of their eggs all on a 32 year old.

A great 32 year old.

A 32 year old who never played in the premier league was once a great player, has since lost a lot of his pace and has been attempting to ply his trade in the Russian wilderness against a league of mostly championship level players? If he fails they have Torres who is more of a threat to Chelsea than the opponents, Lukaku sent off to Everton for a season and Ba who's going to have to really step up his game if he's carrying the work of 3 strikers.

Best transfer window i think was probably Spurs, they traded in a great player for 3 times his realistic value and brought in a load of good players thus fixing their issues of depth that have plagued them for a while now.

Liverpool have done ok too. I think we should have been competing for different targets for the money we've spent, although Jovetic is a player i've wanted in for a few seasons now.

United and Arsenal have brought in one good player and some kids so i'd say they've done shockingly this window although Arsenal's Ozil signing could well prove useful as for Fellaini he's a good player but not almost £30m good so even where United did manage to bring in an established player they've been screwed by it.

Chelsea have bought a load of future talented players but not a lot of players that could be considered game changers right now. Everton have done very well considering their budget.

Newcastle have probably had the worst transfer window though only spending £250k only Loic Remy.

Sure United have had a poor window but capturing Felliani admittedly for far too much money is good for their club. They have added a very good player to a title winning squad. If it's enough time will tell as everyone else has bought class players.

I'm still unsure about Fernandinho and Navas if I'm honest, one looks and plays like Gelson and the other looks a one trick pony but they need time to gell and adapt to a new way of playing. Negredo looks the business though.

Spurs have lost a world class player and have bought...erm...solidly I suppose.

Liverpool have added solidly as well.

Arsenal obviously stand out as the capture of the window as Ozil is an absolute monster. Top assists in the last 5 years beating Ronaldo and Messi is no mean feat.

Chelsea for me though with Eto'o as the dark horse. A world class proven goal scorer. Will depend on his fitness but the player is class.

All in all? Every team has strengthened with players better than what they had except Spurs who admittedly have bought half a team on the proceeds of one sale.

Have we done enough to capture the title back? Maybe but I'm very wary of Chelsea. They have spent some serious money on some very good players.

Would have been worried bout Chelsea if they got cavani and not Eto'o

We added additions to positions where we desperately needed quality players in: Negredo adding to the goal threat, Navas on the wing, Fernandinho as a more expressive central midfielder and Jovetic as a more all round creative striker.

Losing Barry could come back to haunt us though, we just need to hope Rodwell steps up and keeps himself fit.

Liverpool did excellent business which has enabled them to have a challenge at the top 4, plus they have kept Suarez which is a bonus.

Tottenham did immense business in replacing Bale and I have a feeling after a season of the players bedding in they could be challenging for the title next season.

United improved their midfield with Fellaini even if he wasn't first choice, I don't know if he will play DFM or behind the striker though, in my opinion he is at his most lethal behind the striker.

Arsenal should have signed more players, they needed another striker, a center back, a defensive midfielder and possibly another goalkeeper. What Arsenal have done in getting Ozil though will benefit them in the future, by them getting a star name in it has made the club attractive again for top top class players to join them.
