Who is proud they voted Tory ?

Taken back 20 years? He's not done out! Or if you mean within the party then, I wouldn't count shedding a load of backstabbers that don't have any sense of loyalty taking the party back 20 years. I can't tell the difference between them and Tory when it comes to acting on things.

Clearly he has a weak side, but he has shown a strong side too sticking it out through the tough (unlike Cameron). Like Trump he'd be preferable for me to shake things up to get us to turn back onto the right path even though there are downsides. I suspect he'd have a weak stance on immigration though which could be severe considering the strains we're under - technological advancement, economical and social management needs to be ahead of immigration and it's seriously behind at the moment.
He's unelectable.... a dinosaur... I don't vote Labour but he presents zero threat to the establishment for me... Matalan suits, archaic views, only where he is because of the unions.... I'd agree, he has taken the party back decades and is totally unashamed of that

Forget the being proud bit, i'm ashamed that I have ever voted for any political party. It just goes to make them feel legitimate.

Always voted labour since 1982,never again they are so out of touch now.
Since the brexit arguments they don't represent me anymore,I've had my fill of them,Blair let the working classes down totally,
so at the moment I'm more in touch with a leftist tory party.

Shame it doesn't exist.

When the coalition succeeded Labour in 2010 the country's finances were a mess but Cameron aided by Osborne in the two top jobs set on a course of austerity but back loaded the profound effects that we are now experiencing. Its been reported repeatedly that the worst was yet to come through the last 7 years and alternatives were suggested but Osborne never wavered from his plan so where we are is the self fulfilling prophesy made real I suppose. Austerity has bitten deep and as predicted those with the least will be hit the hardest.

Whether anybody should be proud for voting Tory is a moot point - satisfied with their performance or happy with the predictions for what happens next is probably a better question. I have never voted Tory nor would I ever. Whether Labour or anybody else did or could offer a decent opposition is also a question. I think if Brexit doesn't go as well as the Leavers want - if the NHS continues to struggle and trains are still ripping us off along with the energy firms all coupled with austerity then the idea that the Tories will win next time round have to be questioned. Whether they will be relying on pride amongst their voters is highly unlikely.

I see Tony Blair and Gordon Brown as prime examples of how an independent Scotland would just end up fairing with the same domestic frustrations in the modern age.

Blair was never for the working classes.

How many posters on here realise that we are giving 1.4 billion pound to help provide social care for Chinas elderly ? This is being given by the department set up by Tony War Criminal Blair that has to give a set percentage of GDP to foreign countries. Perhaps if the Conservatives had the balls to scrap the stupid law and spent it on our NHS instead we would have a better system.

Just sayin'

Really?

This is the £1.3bn Prosperity Fund that the British Embassy in China are "inviting groups in China to apply for grants to help improve care for the elderly" - according to the Express 7/2/2107. its also being waved under the noses of countries like India and Mexico.

Mad I agree but not yet given to anybody and not quite the story you report.

After the opium wars the Torys and Wigs were involved in why not give something back?

Why did the Torys wait for another part to abolish slavery? Really big of people to vote for them.

I did election before last. Now realise. What's the point in who you vote. Nothing changes in my personal life.
