Who is the best City goalkeeper in history?

Didn't see enough of TC and I was a touch too young, but Joe Hart is and was seriously over rated. Weak to his left, terrible distribution, average at best on crosses, slow off his line... but world class at shot stopping and brilliant on one on ones. It's probably someone before my time but Ederson has started on fire in spells for a keeper so young, hopefully he kicks on unlike Hart. When he came back from Brum he stopped progressing and I feel his weaknesses never improved.
Yes, Hart was the best at one on ones I've ever seen....my God he was favourite against most strikers, he just psyched them out.

I should also have said that the rest of your analysis was spot on

Trautmann, even when he's before my time, highlights of his games really showed how technically and physically gifted he was and he commits to many of his saves and 1v1.

During my time I would say Weaver for the level we were in. Horses for courses, Weaver won't make the no.1 spot now, but he was a joy to watch.

Joe Hart is also a great keeper when he was one of our few stars. When he injured his shoulder and Given came in for the remainder of the season, it became an anticlimax knowing that Given doesn't come out for crosses.
