Vieira by a mile. Probably the best box to box player there's been in Europe over the last 15 years. I just wish Yaya had more years in him because he's easily good enough to be the best if he was going to be around for five more years.

Weah played as a midfielder a lot too, very similar to Yaya. Point taken about proven in the league. Vieira and Yaya neck and neck for me, Keane can fuck off, Gerrard, Scholes and Lampard have always been attacking mids more than box to box for me, maybe Gerrard would qualify as box to box.
