Another vote for me for Paul Dickov and Shay Given.
I mentioned in the Burnley post match that Shay had a dig at Liverpool, likening Sergio’s 29 mm goal to Liverpool not winning the league for 29 years.
He speaks very well and has a grin on him like a Cheshire Cat when we win.
I’m surprised how pro City he is, considering he spent most of his career at Newcastle and it didn’t always go well for him during his 2 years with us.
Given is always quality and Dickov is the go to City man on Talkshite and loves the club.
Sometimes it can be a bad thing. Some of the stuff former Liverpool players come out with is embarrassing. Aldridge most recently. Neville was the most hated rag around yet has become an excellent pundit that retains balance to his opinions. Does he hate City still, of course he fucking does, but his assessments are generally spot on. If the quality of pundits improved we wouldn't need former City players around.
It's doesn't have to be a career just studio guestI think Kompany is a bit too intelligent for a media career; no disrespect to the great presenters out there, but I see him moving onto big things whether it's in football, politics or business.
