Who Should Be The Biased Manchester City TV Pundit?

I don’t want one. Not like ex-Rag and Liverpool ones who just come across as desperate wankers.

I like Shay Given, even wore a sky blue suit this weekend and said “wore this for the boys and it worked”... he only played 69 games for us.

But then I’m not sure I want anyone coming across as too pro-City.

When you're on top having biased pundits helps a lot, they set the narrative when games are on tele, they highlight your players for awards (LFC every year why?), they give opposite viewpoint to Utd/LFC pundits having a go at us... They are ambassadors putting your clubs interests first.

The flip side is what Utd are going through where Nevile, Scholes, Cantona.. etc, they've virtually driven the decision to appoint Ole and they've fucked up again. LFC have been doing it for years with their pundits constantly bigging them up as the next best thing only to fail.

So going forward I will continue to moan about bias but secretly it's a poison chalice and I would prefer City not to have it.

Given is always quality and Dickov is the go to City man on Talkshite and loves the club.

Sometimes it can be a bad thing. Some of the stuff former Liverpool players come out with is embarrassing. Aldridge most recently. Neville was the most hated rag around yet has become an excellent pundit that retains balance to his opinions. Does he hate City still, of course he fucking does, but his assessments are generally spot on. If the quality of pundits improved we wouldn't need former City players around.
