Who started the ridiculous notion that City were better without Haaland ?

Loads of people… and they will say it again in the future. When Haaland first joined they might have been correct but not now.

The same cunts that said he was overacted, would take 2 seasons to adapt, has injury problems, wouldn't fit peps style etc.
Saying we are better without him is just a way for them to avoid admitting they were wrong.
 
i know spit stated that he thought Haaland had signed for thr wrong club , probably after the community shield when Nunez scored off his backside and Haaland missed a sitter , Nunez was then hailed as a better signing than the Viking and predicted BarnDoorNunez would score considerably more goals.
How did that work out Dippers ? Enjoy the european conference cup next season , ive just poured myself a treble.
 
I cant my head around what his goals tally would be if he even took some of the easy chances he's missed.
Probably break Dixie Deans record.
He's great for us but our squad of players are also great for him, he makes us a better side but we make him a better player.
 
It definitely took us a while to get used to playing *well* with him in the team. Until about 2 months ago I think his goals were papering over the cracks of his introduction causing us a few problems as a team. Not surprising, we'd played a few seasons with a false 9 and it was bound to take time for Pep to find something that worked as well as that. Stones sussing out his new role has been the tipping point. Before that it looked like Pep was struggling to accommodate him to me. Now he has, obviously it looks even better than the false 9 system because it's now a fully functioning system with a goal scoring beast at the top of it. .
