Captain Hurricane in the Valiant.
One week he'd be fighting the Germans, the next week the Japanese. He was accompanied by his batman, "maggot" Malone,and his "raging furies" should have won him a VC every week.

Loved Astrix, the illustrations were gorgeous, and the English translation was very clever with the characters names.
