Who Was Your First Ever

I think mine was a toss up between Dennis Tueart, Colin Bell and Joe Corrigan, it's all a bit of a distant blur now, but those 3 I have distinct memories of.

As a kid, Francis Henry Lee.

However, the first City game I went to was at Plymouth in the 87-88 season. At one stage, Argyle were on the attack, and their forward seemed to have a clear run on goal. Andy Hinchcliffe seemed to appear out of nowhere and took the ball off him. I couldn't believe how fast he was.

After that, Hinchy was my favourite, and I had a soft spot for him throughout his career. It's great to see he has made a name for himself as a co-commentator on Sty's Football League coverage.
