Who Was Your First Ever

Nicky Weaver.

But my first love was Ali Benarbia. Met him after the Arsenal game:

Tony Coleman (forever, 'TC') as I recall he was the only player in our Championship winning side who never played for England or the English League XI.

I thought he was - and remains - very underrated.

Joe Corrigan, by a mile.... For three reasons

He spoke to me at my very first game, as my Dad sat in the stand behind and I went down to the front when the players came on after half time.

He was the only person I'd met at that age who was as tall asmy Dad (impressive to a 7 year old with a 6'4" Dad!)

He was the only City player in the Top Trumps cards I had!!

I think he might also have been a pretty decent player....!! ;)

A long while ago but Johnny Crossan was a midfield maestro when I was a teenager, thats also some time ago, he was seriously underated.

Colin Bell, was my footballing hero... Nijinsky! Loved him so much that I got my way to get my newly born brother named after him in 1969 :-) spoilt brat I was lol
