Not so much about hugging, but what's all this business about people crying.

Pretty much everything I read, watched and heard about on the the match after the game, there was always a City fan going on about how he cried as if it's a 'biggest blue' contest. Even when I went on the internet to chill out to a bit of tunnel cam, the players were fucking at it as well.

I think it's the in-thing now, though, and I'm just behind the times with my 1990s style 'jumping up and down and shouting yeah' celebration but even at the parade, I walked past a super-fan in front of a camera telling this journalist about how he's never cried so much in my life. I felt like whipping out my seasoncard and saying to him, 'platinum motherfucker'.

But yeah, call me old-fashioned, but this crying as a means of expressing your happiness will be on the way out soon I reckon, just like Enron, just like Gandhi. I suppose the question is, 'what's next?', 'how will people celebrate in 5 years time?'. Maybe fainting will be back in fashion, or perhaps the biggest fan will jump off a cliff, the ultimate sacrifice. Who knows eh?

miserable fucker.

oh, and my dad, unbelievable memories.

couple of random guys in a pub in the middle of clapham common...only a few blues in there witha mix of reds, qpr fans and fans of other teams....

sent a few tables of drinks flying as i jumped up picked up this guy and spun him around...think i nearly killed him i hugged him so hard!!!!!!....dont think he was bothered tho. I thikn he was in a state of shock like me as afterwards the pub cleared pretty quickly and we were just left there sitting on the table staring at the big screen in disbelief!!!

Started by hugging my sister in front of me and then somehow ended up on the floor being jumped on.

Tbh I didn´t hug anyone. Just turned round looked at the floor, mouth open in disbelief and had a Led Zep "dazed and confused" moment. A few round me were a bit concerned but I was fine. I simply couldn´t grasp the magnitude of what I had witnessed.
Even if Natalie Pike had jumped on me naked atm I would have just said (as one does to the wife!) "not now love, not now" ;)

Anyone and everyone... that is when I crawled out from a mountain of people. The most fantastic feeling I have ever felt at a football match. Loved it!
