who were you hugging whe the goal went in?

I was in Mary D's and when Mackie scored for 1.2 I heard some bloke near me ring his wife and say "you better come get me it's going to kick off in here" at 2.2 he rang her back to say forget the lift and at the end he was singing with the rest of us, I didn't say anything but he knew from my face what I thought.

Everyone in a 1 metre radius. Namely Mrs Bluegorton, mates Ian, Hazzer, Louise, The Welsh folk, some big guy called Wookie(it's on his shirt),Wookie's mate or Dad, couple of lads from Droylsden Carl and his mate, Ian again, and probably the family behind me a few times.

And yes I've shed a good few tears on the day and since, Nashark, but I cried watching Lost-the finale and Titanic :0/

Edit: Louise had already left and couldn't get back in. Don't laugh, it's not funny.

No-one. I fell to my knees in relief. I was probably in that position until a minute or so after the final whistle.

When I got up I hugged a friend and the person in the seat next to me.

My two sons, and then, two lads who sit in front of us, who have not said a word all season, turned round and joined in!!

Don't know, amazingly I can only remember screaming "we've won the league " but I'm sure it will have been with the lads who I have sat with since we moved from Maine road.
Did manage to get to go see my best mate in the east stand once all the gates had opened after we had lifted the trophy and it was very emotional.

My daughter and son in block 235 family stand.

I was in shock, but seeing my kids joy and tears woke me up

The two blokes next to me. Then some in the row in front. Then back to the row behind where I started with my mates, who had collapsed to the ground. Anyone and everyone basically.

^^^ This! And I knocked my missus over and broke my watch. Never known joy like it and am never likely to. Thank you City (and Sheikh Mansour).

If there is a Hollywood Film will it be called the Sheikh' s in the City?

Any one who stood in my way!-After i came out of the ground,my mam and dad sang BlueMoon down the phone to me as it was mydads birthday that day,My dad took me to MR March 1970 he introduced me to my Beautifull club-and i must admit i shed a tear when i saw him, 84 on Sun.Thanks Dad !!

Old guy sat next to me, then my brother, then the guy behind me, then the guys in front. Then ran down to tier 2 to hug my dad and his mate. Amazing, amazing day. Just got goosebumps thinking of absolutely legging it down the spirals.
