Messi and Ronaldo both a different class to anyone, but Messi is a different class to Ronaldo imo, he is just immense. And im not saying that because Ronaldo used to play for the scum, Messi will be conidered one of the best ever once he wins a world cup - which wont be long considering the players Argentina are blessed with.

Considering many off Messi's goals and assists are him single handedly running around almost all opposition players how is that Barca making him good. Yes they have Xavi and Inestia in midfield but the way they play they provide more balls to Villa whereas Messi just runs, so surely he could do that at whatever club.

Well it all depends on each person't definition of best..
For me it is who would be the most effective in the most different situations: i.e. Ronaldo
But for others it might be who is the best when they are both in their optimum situations to perform. And it is arguable whether this is Ronaldo or messi.
Pretty much what I was about to say. Messi doesn't look as good for Argentina as he does at club level but it's the same for many other players, including Ronaldo.
