He has played a very dangerous game, even though the sanctions imposed are pretty meaningless there is a certain humiliation factor involved, if there is dirt on him it will come out all I can say is what an idiot, although I have always felt he has played patsy to vested interests of the cartel, as I doubt he is clever and astute enough to carry this out by himself

If he is just dim then I could maybe feel sorry for him for being so easily suckered by some nasty , devious types with their own self interest at heart.
Either way , he's either stupid or bent and irresponsible - perm any two or all three - but he seems to be , like so many other tinpot bureaucrats , convinced that they are above the law and that somehow they will always get away with it.

I would rather rumminige and gill get screwed over than le grenouille because I don't think his his heart is in FFP it is driven by far more evil and sanctimonious people.
Still I reckon it's time to bin Qatar and have a straight vote between aus and USA as both could easily host the World Cup at short notice - I reckon a lot of Qatari votes would go to aus as well so it would be interesting!
It would be an amazing World Cup down here and would be perfect conditions for football which isn't a summer sport!
