Seems a fitting time to post my bet from the opening day.

Cheers mate rubbing my nose in it again !!!! Brentford let me down that day for £724, then Bryan gets his slip out on the coach home to wind me up further.

Arsenal last year 3-0 Robinho.

300 notes I or thereabouts from a £3 bet. Delighted that we missed a sitter in the last minute

city v leicester

facup replay at the walkers 2004

was on my own and only got there with about x5 mins to go

it was a tossup between a couple of pies or a bet........and

the queue for the bookies was smaller than for the catering

so £5 on city to win 3:1 with sibierski to score first

well antoine scored with a far post header, although i think his knees
were actaually touching the floor when he managed to head it in

then leicester equalised and it was heading for extra time when anelka
scored and the guy next to me said he had city to win 3:1 and was
then screaming for city to score the third...................................

well i think barton missed a sitter & we thought that was it, then macken
scored in about the third minute of injury time and we thought surely the
ref would blow up..... but he had us biting our nails as we surged forward
again and macken missed a sitter, thankfully the ref finally blew up & both
the guy next to me and I had won our bets,

i didnt have the heart to tell the guy next to me that my bet was also
linked to sibierskis and was £5 @ 125/1 and not just city to win 3:1 as
he was over the moon with his win so just said mine was the same,

so £625 win and got those two pies from the local leiceter chippy for the trip
home

£1 on city to win 4-1 against united - 100/1
£1 on city to win 5-1 against everton - 80/1

i regularly win fairly small bets, only this weekend i had £20 on us to beat wolves half time/full time at evens.

won £205 off a fiver when tarnet scored that free kick at blackburn
only trouble was a mate told the wife at ht :-(

In the early 90's I won £849 from a £2 stake on the fixed odds. 9 homes and 1 away if I remember right.

It was the same day City beat Spurs at home 2-1 with Redmond scoring a last minute winner
