Why after today has Mancini lost the fans?

You should write for the OS mate with the amount of spin you are able to apply.

Safe to say, we don't and wont ever agree.
I live in the real world, you must inhabit some fantasy land where we won the double last year, and have a fit squad of Arsenal like proportions....come to think of it how are Arsenal doing?

In the real world of football mate, failure isn't tolerated. Our owner has shown his hand before on this.

-- Sun Mar 20, 2011 11:52 pm --

In the real world city have spent £300m I'm two years. Our squad is as good as any in the prem, including arsenal.

just in your wet dreams

From the man with the "Bobby crush", that really is something ;-)

I called this game after 20 minutes, it was always clear to me that Thursday's efforts we were going to run out of steam in the last twenty minutes.

I can see why people are depressed; I expected us to turn around our poor form a couple of weeks ago.

Has he overused key players on a Europa campaign that we threw away in the blink of an eye? Yep.

Will that matter if we beat Utd in the semi? Nope. If we do, then we the monkey off our back, and top four would transform the status of the club. But it's a big if. Let's hope Utd are the ones feeling tired in the final 20 at Wembley.

I think it's curious that, after all the money spent, the best back 4 that we have consist entirely of Hughes purchases.

I see the tiredness issue is being brought up.

When Chelsea made the change for Drogba and Anelka to freshen things up why didn't our master tactician do the same by bringing on some fresh legs to counter this?

Lost my faith last season after the 1st leg of the semi against the rats. Very defensive, didn't go for the kill against a team with injuries and playing poor at the time. He played their history not the team on the field. IOW he was sacred, bottled it. When he punched the air after the final whistle I knew he was wrong for us. He should have bbeen dissapointed that we didn't get a 2 goal lead at least but seemed happy little City beat them That for me was NOT a winning mentality and it's got worse ever since. Winning mentality is not to go to Chelsea who we are trying to show we are on an even keel with these days and play like a 4th division side trying to get a draw.

Richards was there before Hughes.

The other 3 were all Hughes purchases but one of his major failings was not getting them organised, when he was manager we were good going forward but extremely leaky at the back. Short memories, eh...

Dead right Halfpenny - reading this forum it seems like Hughes was a master tactician - like you say, short memories

I'm a little confused how you came to that conclusion.

We have gone from all attack to all defence. We need to get a happy medium. Hence step in Jose
