Why after today has Mancini lost the fans?

For me its the way established international players have now got to the stage where they cant even pass a 10 yard pass accuratly.

Plus:
1) Failure to address our set pieces. When we get a thrown in, count to 10 and by the time you have got to 10 the other team are attacking us.
Corners/Free kicks- May as well go and put the kettle on, nothing will come of them.

2) Negative tactics and slow build up. 40 passes to get to the 1/2 way line

3) Zero Pace in the team

4) We laugh at Capello with his captancy cock ups, but is ours better?. Should tevez has kept the captaincy after his transfer request.

5) kidd and platt. Are they good enough. Is it the Welsh tafia Mk II (Job for his friends)

IMHO should be De Jong and then 2 players in front of him who are half decent pace wise, box to box, can tackle and create and get into the box. Playing with Toure (fit for 5 mins per game) and Barry (too slow, no creative) and Milner (typical English player, all effort no technique) doesnt work and should have been addressed.

BUT madness to get rid of now and others are right, who would we replace him with in the summer. Should we start all over again. I would like to give him 1 more year even if we dont get 4th this year. Give this team pre season to get thier act together

Hate to say it, but Mancini needs to learn a thing or two from Spurs!!

learn what? to play open match and end up losing?

in the end you will remember the result not the performance.

*looks at the league table*

we still have 4 points advantage over Spurs .. and yes I know they have a match in hand, but it's against Arsenal, won't be easy for them.

He's the most overrated Manager of his generation. The first Serie A victory with Inter Milan was handed to him despite finishing 3rd, the second was earned by using players from the Teams who'd been demoted / docked points following the match fixing scandals although I'll concede the third title was well earned. They said he was "blessed with fortune" as a Manager and I'd have hoped the fortune would continue at City.

I'll judge at the end of his first full season but, deep down, I never wanted him and still don't.

@Failsworth

The Richards incident wasn't responsible for us losing the game,we were second best in every dept for 80 mins, besides, that specific episode should have been defended better,we have numerous players 6'2 plus, maybe Chelski just wanted it more....?

And for the record,Luiz threw himself to the ground and the ref bought it.

Richards had a decent game.

The problem is our midfield, we're to reliant on Silva to create the goals, absolutely no one consistently looks a threat. Movement and changing from defence to attack is way too slow.

I don't want to see kick and rush football, i want to see at least one, ideally two of our central midfielder committing forward when we attack. Unfortunately when Barry breaks forward, he loses possession most of the time. Milner out on the wing is a waste, he was terrible yesterday.

weve been SHIT for weeks, months even.
top 4 place in jeopardy now.
a few months ago it looked certain.
we aretired because we couldnt beat lower league opposition for starters in fa cup.
also he said the other week that if we had a bigger squad we could deal with all these games. bellamy, weiss, santa cruz , bridge , adebayor all gone on loan.

sick and tired of same old shit excuses.
we need to be careful our season doesnt go to pot .
we have a tough run of games anda huge semi final.

we need to step it up, NOT hear about how tired the players are.

I wouldn't blame this on any of the players, just because of the one fact. If you play slow , keep the ball at your defenders, have no pace whatsoever and that is not something your manager wants, next game you will be warming the bench....simple. This is obviously something that is forced on players by Mancini

The Richards incident led to the first goal of the game with less than 15 minutes to go when we were looking pretty comfortable defensively. I know Luiz made the most of it but Micah should have just stood up and not commited as those kind of tackles are nearly always punished and it put us under pressure. Of course Kompany and Kolarov should have defended the free kick better but we shouldn't have been in the situation in the first place

I've got no confidence in the team at the moment. Every game is lethargic and void of ideas...certainly since the start of the year.

Even with all the talent at our disposal I sometimes wonder where a goal is gonna come from.

Because we have very little creativity and he plays 3 defensive midfielders against every team in the league home or away he's too scared of dropping yaya when Milner should play in middle and he will never play 2 up top until were getting beat far far too negative with a squad not many teams in the world can top, without silva were very very slow and can't create anything and it's because of how we set up every game he's too scared of losing instead of going to win games ad at the end of the day you win things by winning games not by trying to not get beat
