Why Are We Not Allowed To Criticise Mancini?

Criticise a manager whos unbeaten in 12(correct me if im wrong)League games in a row, and lost only 1 game this season?? Why would we want to do that! All the abuse that comes your way from this post will be justified!

not forgetting that bit of silverware last season.

Everyone has the right to critisize, last night for example leaving out our best centre half this season, switching VK to the left side and playing Kolo with 1 game in 6 months was in my opinion a mistake, playing Nasri and Dzeko and not Milner and Jongie was a mistake in my opinion. But do you know what, week in week out i differ from his selections, subs and then i remember he gave us the FA Cup and Champs league football and i thank our owners they employ RM as our manager

Reading the umpteen comments about our Champions League performances, it seems that Mancini is forever beyond criticism. However, it seems to me that he is at least partly responsible and may simply be getting too big for his Italian boots. He has been unable to motivate players like Robinho, Adebayor, Bellamy, Boateng, Tevez and several others. Dzeko will be the next on his list. His man management skills need to be vastly improved if he wants to lead City to greater glories. As for his substitutional tactics, why does he always remove a striker and replace him with a midfielder only to bring on another striker some time later. He seems to do this all the time. Why for God's sake? Without doubt, Mancini is the best manager we have had at this football club but that doesn't mean that he can escape criticism. No I'm not a Rag, simply a fellow blue who lived through the doldrums of the 1990's and would love to see our current success last longer than that enjoyed by the last club who won the league simply through buying power and little else...Blackburn Rovers.

Sure you can but now is not the time....now is the time to SUPPORT the manager/Club..

You just have and the mods haven't pulled the plug on your thread lionheart (lol).

Its true some players don't get on with managers , happens all the time but if both are professional the likes of us will never know about it or they will not let it get in the way of their performances.

Mancini has come into a lot of criticism by pundits and bluemooners alike for starting Kolo last night.

He is not beyond criticism and he will get more flack before his days with us are through as it comes with the job.

I agree he doesn't strike me as someone who has the man management skills that make all players feel warm and fuzzy all the time but at the end of the day I think we should all judge him on his record.

An F A Cup and third placed finish is a pass mark in his first full season in my book notwithstanding the money the club has spent on players during his reign and resources we have to spend on the football department that other clubs don't have.

The owners would expect further improvement this season on the domestic front with the possibility of getting through to the knock out stages in the chumps league.

A blip last night in a number of fronts and Mancini has admitted he made mistakes on and of the pitch.

If we remain on target for our objectives and competitive in matches we should be , he will get my vote.

Bullshit mate, all them players you mentioned have a history of being twats, nothing to do with Bobby.

Dzeko will not be the next, he is a good lad who rightly was pissed he was taken of (all players should show such determination) albeit stay a little calmer. He will have appologized by now and that will be done and dusted.
This. Methinks the op doesn't know as much as Mancini does about tactics.

He also has previous for being anti Mancini and a huge pessimist

Constructive critisim is ok, but your all over the shop.First off Kolo Toure has vast experience playing Champs lge including a final, hence the reason we bought him,Joleon has played once against Napoli and in fairness looked out of his depth! Second, your contradicting yourself with De Jong if Kolo shouldn't have played due to match sharpness, De Jong is in the very same boat, at least Kolo has been fit for 6 months Nigel has been injured for 6 weeks!!! Then again everyone is entitled to they're opinion mine & yours just differ slightly!

if tevez had made it on to the field, the decision to replace edin with nigel would have nade more sense to me, so i am of the belief that the argentian **** fucked up robberto's plans. even watching on tele it didnt twig that tevez was refusing to go on, and i was cursing mancini for not allowing tevez to go and try and do some magic, and was slightly bewildered.

if i was mancini i would be very hurt personally by last nights events and thought he has shown again that he can handle himself with dignity.

so to answer the question in the op, yes you are allowed to criticise mancini but i feel at the moment he needs our support, and tactically i don't think it was such a bad move, tevez could have won the match last night. tevez and aguera were worth a punt 2 0 down surely
