Yep, Mancini has forever been without criticism on here.

I fucking despair sometimes. Just when the squad look like they're building fantastic morale, one little twat spoils it for everyone then it's back to square one. Who gives a turd what Mancini did with Adebayor and the rest? They are gone and have been replaced by far superior players.

The main problem was that until May his job seemed to be hanging by a thread. He always seemed to be two poor results from the sack. Those of us that rated him didnt like the idea of any criticism developing into a "Mancini out" campaign, similar to the one we had with Hughes, that could give the club an excuse to swing the axe.

Now that his job his more secure I think its fairer for people to criticise him. I personally though he got the selection wrong yesterday.

But now we have the Tevez situation and I'm back to thinking we should be supporting the manager

Lets hope we don't need the win though,regardless of their own status in the group,knocking out a potential threat in the later stages of the competition,could be all the motivation they need.

Reading the umpteen comments about our Champions League performances, it seems that Mancini is forever beyond criticism. However, it seems to me that he is at least partly responsible and may simply be getting too big for his Italian boots. He has been unable to motivate players like Robinho, Adebayor, Bellamy, Boateng, Tevez and several others. Dzeko will be the next on his list. His man management skills need to be vastly improved if he wants to lead City to greater glories. As for his substitutional tactics, why does he always remove a striker and replace him with a midfielder only to bring on another striker some time later. He seems to do this all the time. Why for God's sake? Without doubt, Mancini is the best manager we have had at this football club but that doesn't mean that he can escape criticism. No I'm not a Rag, simply a fellow blue who lived through the doldrums of the 1990's and would love to see our current success last longer than that enjoyed by the last club who won the league simply through buying power and little else...Blackburn Rovers.

Grow up. Nobody is stopping you from criticising Mancini. However, you are too dim to realise that most managers have found it difficult to manage Robinho, Adebayor, Bellamy, and Tevez. However, Mancini has the balls to take strong action and get rid of these trouble makers just like Fergie would have done. Fergie doesn't put up with shit like this and Mancini wasn't prepared to either. What do you want, the players to run the club or the manager. Your post if flawed in so many ways that I can't really be bothered to discuss the rest of the rubbish you have written

I dont know if you've noticed but he's against a different team/manager also trying to get selections/substitutions/tactics right every week and wont always come on top !

We still have a chance of getting through to the next stage

I reckon we can beat Villareal home and away, and if we have a go at Napoli we could get something there

Even Munich at home is winable...for the first 35mins last night we were the better team btu after the ogal we seemed to fall apart a bit...but i saw enough to convince me we arent that far away from them.

Toure for Lescott wasn't a mistake and I wish people would stop going on about it.

Both goals didn't come from Toure errors. Lescott has been ok so far but did no-one see how he sold Kompany short before cahill incident and also at the end of the game when Savic had to clear from the line. Hardly been convincing.
