I knew a cat once that battered most dogs....clawed fuck out of themMy vet has a quiet section for cats but some dick with a dog will let them come in on their long lead then laugh and say sorry , cunts , cats are frightened enough
Good point, and yes in the 70's a lot of folk just put their dogs outside in the day - no need to walk them, pick up shit or have them on a lead that way. I suppose increased traffic and the laws tightening up changed things?A lot of it does come down to your childhood experiences of dogs.
I’m sure it was the same in Britain, but over here in the Seventies dogs would be out on the street. Owners in general would not be as clued in on the whole socialising element and behaviour training.
We used to have to run the gauntlet of a pack of dogs on one certain street on the way to school each day. We had a small dog that wasn’t allowed out front off a lead, so I had a bit of savvy about how to behave with them, but it was very intimidating and you basically would have to face them down everyday. You wouldn’t turn your back on them.
I don’t think it’s like that nowadays, but there are still horrible instances recorded. Recently over here a child was savaged by a large Mastiff cross breed. The dog was put down and the owner prosecuted. Apparently it wasn’t the first attack by the dog. That’s just so wrong. He should be imprisoned and barred from owning a dog of any sort again.
Cats can defend themselves or run away but not trapped in a carrier and scared and some twats ignore the quiet cats area sign and curtain , put there by the vets as they know cats are scared at the vets , twats !I knew a cat once that battered most dogs....clawed fuck out of them
Tell the **** to do one or it won't be the cat clawing his eyes out....Cats can defend themselves or run away but not trapped in a carrier and scared and some twats ignore the quiet cats area sign and curtain , put there by the vets as they know cats are scared at the vets , twats !
Me...!! Never....just dropping something of in the garage. Weirdly though, the dog in question, as with quite a few round here, had been sent to ' boarding school ' for a few months. A few of these dogs are worth an absolute fortune, one stud went for £40k. Watching them work on the hills is an absolute joy. Were you being an arse ? ;-)
