He's a fraud and a coward, I can't stand keepers like him. For some reason the press are in love with this joke of a keeper.

What a tosser

I've really started to grow a hatred towards Liverpool over the past 5-6 years for a number of reasons. Their fans are probably the saddest bunch of football supporters I think I've ever come across. Not only do they believe they are the best club in England based on their success in the 80's, but they think they've got a divine right to win the league over Chelsea, Rags and Arsenal. Also, (it may sound ridiculous and it may just be based on my own experiences here, but) in every poll/vote/opinion, they're fans will vote for their representative regardless of the quality of the other contenders. In particular, the annual player of the year awards, i.e. best defender. Reina, Carragher, Gerrard and Torres always seem to win. Now you can't seriously tell me Liverpool have the best GK, Defender, Midfielder and Forward in the league yet can't win the bloody thing? Not just in polls/surveys but in general conversation. If you believe a player to be better than any of them 4 names mentioned, they actually get quite offended and think your stupid! Fair play if they claim to love their club and that, but it's actually quite sad to not consider the fact that there are actually better players that do not play for Liverpool.

Also, Anfield is just as bad if not worse than the Swamp for daytrippers!! They basically scrutinize United for having fans in China, but Liverpool have just as many across Asia if not more! They also hate United/Chelsea for diving and cheating, *ahem*, Gerrard and Mascherano would never do such a thing now would they? Liverpool's core local support isn't as great as they think. Plus, the atmosphere there is shocking. "The Famous Kop" is a load of bollocks IMO, each time I've been to Anfield it's been dead. Maybe I should go to one of these amazing Champions League nights and sample it then?

Now they're actually in with a chance of losing their prestigious Champions League spot to Us/Villa/Spurs or Everton their bums are flapping. Alonso left them, Benitez is obviously tactically inept and acts like a baby threatening to resign each time he falls out with the owners. They got lucky in 2005 when they finished 5th and won the friggin' thing and Everton finished 4th. Out of all the top 4 clubs, I'd love us to finish 4th at the expense of Liverpool, even more so than the Rags.

I'm going to bookmark this, it is my opinion and more, well said n_mcfc
Quality post!

Used to work with a guy who regularly goes over for their matches who tells me there are large numbers of Norweigns everywhere around anfield, Strange!

Yeah, always feel sorry for the Scandinavians who follow us now as everyone will think they are glory hunters but they are probably the most loyal fans we have!

Cheers for that one mate ;-)

"Casillas, Buffon, Cesar, Young Foster in that order for me."

Looool.

Lol! That's amazing, that has to be someone who only encounters football via computer games or something!

Yeah 'young' Foster is great isn't he? I mean, even the most obnoxious rags I know look a bit sheepish when I mention this guys name with a smirk.

I do hate Liverpool. if we could replace anyone out of the top 4 i'd choose them.

Me too Sam

I would laugh, but after looking at some of the stuff people say about Elano on here, theres a definite case of pot, kettle, black.
