In one of those Father son moments my youngest has just asked why do We support City.
For me its easy I'm a glory Hunter.
Way back as a young lad of 5 in 76 I swayed between the path of righteousness and the dark side. I clearly remember watching City win the league cup (on the Sunday) and cheering them on, equally as United got to the FA cup final in May I so wanted them to win.
I remember after they lost thinking "fuck this for a lark" I'm supporting a team that wins things. (its fair to say I may not at 5 really have been thinking fuck this for a lark).
From that day on I was a Blue...
So why do you follow the blue shirted heroes.

Born in Wales but moved to Stockport when i was about 5.
City was the 1st match my dad took me too. Joined the Junior Blues soon after.
Fell in Love with city at a very young age.

Always thank my dad for taking me to City and not Utd

As a kid I was given almost an ultimatum by my dad, I liked football but didnt really follow a team (I was very very young), it was to support the winner of a derby, City won and here I am.

Suffice to say i'm sure he's not happy with my decision haha (I dont see him anymore but I can only assume).

Born and brought up in Moss Side (Claremont Road, about 5 mins walk from Maine Road) for my first 10 years, then Longsight for the next 9 years up til '82 when I moved over here. Who else was I going to support? City were my local club.

i support them cos of my old man. we live in burnley and he gave me the very simple choice when i was 6 years old.

come an watch City for free or go and pay to watch burnley.

Forest at home my first game we drew 2-2 in 1992. never looked back

City, City the best team in the land and all the world!!
