Why Don't Asians Support City?

im Asian and i support man city all the rest either support united,chealsea,arsenal or liverpool

Isn't one of United's main lads, an Asian? Remember seeing him, Tony O'Neil and some of United's firm being boxed in by GMP at the bottom of Claremont Road a good few years back.

Correct jrb, he was probz the most well known one rolled wiv cockney reds n' been around from back in the late 70's n' were very well known by us at City.

In 80's we did have the odd few asians taggin along but not on awaydays.

Leicester n' the local demagraphics of have'nt had much probz from wot i've seen over the decades, other midland clubs too.

Never quite figured out the attraction - Dippers but do remember even early 70's most asians tended to support em granted by shirt support n' not attendin in person !
Take a walk through Lime Street of a match day n' their asian support is bold as brass nowa days.

I know its been said before that the real breakthrough for the asian community will really surfice once they see asian players week in week out on pitch.

All that said n' though not in great huge numbers asians are indeed seen at the match.

CITC n' its many incentives will see the younger generation mingle wiv no probs imo

I'm Asian, and I know most Asians only know of the Big Four (Scum, Lpool...). Most of them are glory hunters, thus the huge amount of Scum supporters. Which also describes the latest growth in Chelsea fans.

Hell, all I see on my streets is either the Scum jersey, or the Chelsea jersey, sometimes Liverpool. When you mention teams like "Manchester City" or "Spurs", they go like "wot?".

Worst off, some don't even follow football, yet they have the cheek to say they are a "fan". Nice fans the scums have.

people in my country known football clubs from TV and magazines,these medias usually talk only manu,chelsea,arsenal and liverpool,
for me i known CITY from a newspaper,and i have no reason for being a supporter of this club (i occasionally fly to UK to watch football at mancity stadium),although 3 or 4 years ago this club was in the lower half rank in the table.

one of the reason that Asian don't support this club because of oversea marketing of this club was not empasized.

Most asians associated red with success and luck, I think that's why they support Pool and United.
