Read the arguments made against him

Then give me any positives for him not just quote his inheritance.

Your opinion is 9 months is not sufficient.

Mine and a lot of others is that it is more than enough. The managers you quote as the ones we should look to to base our assessment on, Moyes etc. Did they loose to a club somewhere near 80th position in the English leagues. Did they lose to a team that was in a relegation position two leagues lower. Did they fail to get less than 18 points in 15 games against teams who have been relegation candidates for the best part of this season? No they Fking didn’t

youve gotta admit though, his editing of your post was quite funny

Re: Why I want Hughes out and it’s not because of results

we know we can forget Hiddink as his loyalty lies with the Russian FA and he will stick to that, and if Frank R was that good why is he not employed

Re: Why I want Hughes out and it’s not because of results

Isn't it strange how people's views of games change depending on whether or not they are Hughes Out or Hughes In posters?

I remmember us losing 2-0 in Aalborg with a diabolical performance, scores of Hughes Out posters came on and slated the manager and his tactics.

The response from the Hughes In supporters was that it didn't matter... we had gone through, and that the result was ALL that mattered.

Now, today, it not the result that matters...it's the performance!

Make your fucking minds up will you... what's it to be... RESULT or PERFORMANCE?

For me, it's result every time.

I'd rather play shit and win.

He talks about players being tired instead of recognising that his tactics are the problem. We have played 48 games this season and no player has played in them all. Lampard has played in 59! And did he look tired against Liverpool? Despite Hughes belief that his players are amongst the fittest in the league only 3 or 4 of ours continuously look fit after 70 minutes...

Leaving tactics aside because its subjective the tiredness aspect and seeming lack of fitness its really starting to bug me. All season long we have had 'football factories', 'Hughes teams are fitter than anyone elses' yada, yada so am I missing something? Oh and don't give me they are carrying injuries (which is whole new discussion initself). All teams at the end of season are carrying walking wounded bar the odd exception. Everton went through a spell with no recognised striker and Zola at West Ham is running on empty.

thats an interesting point, and his insistence that his teams will always be uber fit may well be his eventual downfall, but how many of his teams started competitive football as early as we have this season

Never read so much shit, why dont all you moaners go and support County and watch some real shit, I say again if Jose came in and had a shit 9-10 months do we sack him, and also dont forget who has he attracted to INTER i think nobody

The big difference here sid is that Jose has won it all and has a very very attractive C.V, on the other hand Hughes hasn't!!
You just can't compare the two and for your question of who has he attracted to INTER, well you could look at it this way: He has worked with what he has, getting the BEST from that and has only added what was needed saving INTERS owners a vast fortune...And last but not least they are at the TOP of the Italian league and will be going to Europe next year.

To answer your question; If he came and that's only a big big if I would give him as long as it takes to get City working, because HE would eventually get them working and you could bet your last quid on that. As for MH, perhaps maybe he could get City to the top, perhaps?? But why why why have a maybe when you can have assurance???

I can understand people getting on Hughes's back, I personally will wait until the end of the season, but in NO way can you slag off a manager who is at the top of his game for quick turnarounds and THROPHIE'S.

Citysid I am aware of his loyalty and its use to reject Chelsea but as my post said I believe that there is a way to get him despite that loyalty.

agree completely, it grates with me that when we lose pathetically its automatically always Hughes fault, when we win its rarely down to Hughes input, its because a new found desire among the players, cos we played a weak team yada yada. I just think that people should be prepared to accept that if a bad performance/result is the managers fault and no one elses then by the same logic the manger should be given credit for a good performance

We have still played 10 fewer games than Chelsea and that does not include their pre season games. Don't say theirs would only have been friendlies we were not exactly playing Champions League teams. Despite our difficulties in getting through against them.
