The bottom line for Mr Hughes is;- WE ARE MAKING NO PROGRESS WHATSOEVER.

Clearly! we usually get to the semi finals in europe don't we? well don't we?????

In response to kevstar.

1. I'm a big fan of Kompany, he was a very good signing. But a team of Kompany's will not win you the league, and I'm concerned that Hughes is averse to the type of players that offer us something different.

2. People go on and on about the first half of 2008 (as if the first 4 months of the league don't count). I wonder if they realise that with only 5 matches to go we haven't actually matched the points tally from that half a season under Sven.

Am I really reading this SHIT!!!!

What a bunch of tossers you are for wanting Hughes out!!!

We need to get stability within the club & sacking the manager just because we haven't met YOUR expectations is pathetic!!!!

It's about time knobs like you started looking at the bigger picture. We have a five year plan. We're not going to do things over night. It's going to take time & it needs to take time.

Thankfully it's a small minority of so-called fans who want Hughes out & to be quite honest I'd prefer if you lot went. The club wouldn't miss knobs like you

Top post!

this is a forum pal and youve posted 8 fooking times we can have our say and you can have yours..you KNOB.

Here is my first post - dont know who to call a knob

Hughes may not be to everyones liking but he has split this board roughly 65/35 with hughes outers

Down sides
He does not seem to inspire the players
His tactical sense does not stack up

Plus Sides
He seems a long term Manager who does not take fools gladly
Has the people who he bought behind him

In life you quite often have to put up with a load of shit before you get what you want. This is how I see City at the moment. Changing the manager will not guarantee overnight success just the same as becoming the worlds richest club hasn't. Things will undoubtably improve and at least with Hughes we have the devil we know. Another poster on another thread made a valid point the other day when he said that another manager would probably sell Stephen Ireland and Shaun Wright-Phillips so those calling for Hughes to go might not be as happy as they expect to be with his replacement. Just a thought.

Good point well made

Another bellend, that think because we all don't want Hughes to stay, then we must be lesser fans.

He did last night! and don't go down the usual line where when we play well it's the players and when we don't it's the managers fault because that is just bollox!!!!!!

We do? First it was a 3 year plan then I thought it was a 10 year plan and now its a 5 year plan or may be you have only read the first volume of 'The Ten Year Plan'. Anyway can I read it? Is it good? How does it end? Are there any good sex scenes?

Well you would if one of the 'knobs' that wants Hughes out happens to be Sheikh Mansour. Now admit it you'd feel pretty silly then wouldn't you?

No room for sentiments on this one..I wished him well when he came here although it was against my better judgement...

We mustnt forget that we are now in the limelight like it or not...and we do not install fear into anyone..ffs the fulham usa supporters actually call coms their second home.

Hughes is an ok Manager dont get me wrong but we really do need an already proven manager not one who is trying to prove himself..

thats my opinion and I am allowed it if you disagree then thats your right too.

Absolute 100% agreement.

Why I want Hughes out and it’s not because of results. Although going out of two cup competitions against Brighton and Forest and being only 2 points ahead of Stoke and 1 below Wigan after 80% of the season has been completed. And still to reach the so called ‘safe from relegation’ target of 40 points. All of this after spending far more than any other team this season. No it’s because of his one dimensional thinking. Having wanted Santa Cruz , his first attempt to buy him was in August and failed again to get him in January. He continues to send out a team in a formation to play to a target man. This despite having many talented players at his disposal who would play better if utilised better. Assuming he gets SC in the summer. (His total focus on a player who has still only had one good season is further evidence of his inability to think beyond one approach). What happens when SC/ or similar player is injured? With one up front our opponents do not need to defend leaving all defenders back. So we play at least 2 sometimes 3 defensive midfielders to cope with the oppositions freedom. And this of course leads to us keeping clean sheet!!!!!!!!! Hughes cannot see that this system continues to fail. We appear to play better at home simply because the away team are more cautious so we can push up ourselves and be more creative. He talks about players being tired instead of recognising that his tactics are the problem. We have played 48 games this season and no player has played in them all. Lampard has played in 59! And did he look tired against Liverpool? Despite Hughes belief that his players are amongst the fittest in the league only 3 or 4 of ours continuously look fit after 70 minutes. Don’t confuse last nights performance with anything Hughes did, that game was played by the guys on the pitch for the fans and themselves not Hughes job. He may well survive beyond the end of this season but if he does this will only delay our progression as he will eventually have to go. He now has 6 games left against opposition that should, the Rags apart be at least 9 to12 points for a team of average expectations. Let’s see how he does and if the Hughes out or the Hughes to stay group are right.

I totally agree, I never wanted the ex-rag.

He is a clueless as a top flight manager. He has been outwitted by other managers all season. That is why we are below Wigan etc. It's not the players but the coaching anf management.
He failed to organise and motivate for many many games. He failed to change things for the betterduring the game 90% of the time.
Last night the players worked hard but why haven't they done that at nearly everyway game this season including last week at Hamburg.
The sooner the owners see him for what he is the better.

We need a manager with vision and ability who can take the club forward. He is taking us backwards.
I believe most other managers in the division with the squad of players has would have done better in the two domestic cups and be on at least 50 points now.
I wasn't expecting a top 4 finish this season, but I expected to be pushing for top 6 and so did most other football fans across the country.
He has screwed it up. Hid behind excuses. He should go

I totally agree. First of hes an ex rag. 2nd be taking us backwards.
