Why is there always something wrong?

Not sure that press dude actually got his question from this forum as its an obvious , ( non inspiring and predictable ) question to ask when you have had the number of players we had sent off since the Wolves game.

The press will spill this as the title is slipping from our grasp.

Manure and Spurs ready to pounce and take advantage etc.

Does Mancini have what it takes etc etc.

All of it is predictable and lacking in perception and not worth reading or listening to but if you do as most of you will don't let it upset you.

There are far more important things to concern yourself with.

Of course we all want to win the title , lets see how we go in the next 10 games and we may have a better idea how we are placed.

We have bounced back from losses this season we can do so again.

Because some people can be reactionary idiots on here.

Don't get me wrong, tonight wasn't good but too many people expect us to win every game and throw their toys out when we don't.

Everton away was never going to be easy, but we need to improve fast. We're still top going into February with a reasonable run of fixtures ahead though.

Time for calm heads.

EXACTLY.

People slag the media off and say the talk about this and that. We give the press ammunition!

Tonight on Sky Sports news Thompson, Nicholas and Co were discussing Mancini's comments on saying it was his fault.

They were right saying surely, you won't come out and say this. But they all missed the point and mancini has them all fooled. Like i stated in my OP on this thread, mancini simply did this to take the spotlight off the team and take the flack and not let everyone get on the players backs.

Mancini didn't do anything wrong at Everton, he's just taking one for the team. A majority of the blame lyes with the players on the pitch. Cause Mancini won't come out and say so and so was rubbish.

basically it's clever management, but at the same time throws alot of pressure on himself.

What is more worrying from these reactionary posters is how do they react to setbacks in their own lives?

TV reception goes = Smash the f**kin telly
The missus comes home from work 10 mins late = Shagging the boss, divorce papers
Stub toe = Phone 999
etc
etc
etc

I don't think it was just about the Everton result though mate. It's happened a few times this season. I personally don't rate the manager as a top drawer manager, his tactics at times are baffling - for example taking off Lescott to bring on Kolorov, putting Clichy to right back and playing Richards at centre half.

There's questions over some of his signings too, Savic (although young enough to improve) doesn't appear to have the ability of a Premier League winning centre half, Kolorov for me has been very very poor apart from the odd free kick and Dzeko who doesn't seem to have the ability to control a football.

He hasn't prepared enough for the absence of Yaya, he's known since the start of the season that he would be away at the ACON's for a month, why wasn't Pizarro brought in on 1st Jan then perhaps we might not have been eliminated from 2 cup competitions in the space of 10 days.

We've gone from having a 5 point lead over the scum to now being level on points with them. Fulham in recent times have had quite a decent record against us at our place so I would expect them to get a draw on Saturday. I'd also expect the scum to get a win at Chelsea due to the absence of quite a few key players.

All is not lost but come the end of the season, if we're trophyless then in my opinion he will be out of the door.

What a negative post.

You expect Fulham to get a draw?
If you asked Martin Jol in private, he'd expect jackshit from this game.

However, you expect Utd to get a win at SB? Obviously Utd have no injuries atm.

It's posts lke this, based on pessimism, which perpetuate the negativity on here.

Everton have lost five games at home this season and my mole down at Goodison tells me that nigh on the whole five were against the dross of the league. I can cope with any reverse, I take it on the chin, I get knocked down and get up again, dust myself off and look for the bastard who did it! But on each occasion I am left with a similar question - In their pomp, would The Dippers, The Arse, CFC or MANUre have lost to a mediocre BlueDipper/Blackcat/CFC team full of geriatics and journeymen?

Nothing has gone wrong, We have only lost 3 all season in the league bad ref decisions against Chelsea, last minute off side goal against Sunderland and a deflected goal against everton, yes the other night was a pretty poor performance but if this is our sticky spell well i can live with that as we are still top with 15 games to go, 3 points saturday against Fulham and we put the pressure back on the rags and they have a tough game.

I've always thought that the ones who throw the toys out of the pram are probably the same ones giving it the big one every day about how we're going to do this and were going to do that. They then can't cope with thought of having to go into work and eat a bit of humble pie.
