Why rearrange the united league fixture ?

They would never ever make us play a league derby on a Staurday followed by a final on a Sunday would they, oh hang on

I see that City proposed this to the Rags but they replied - "Sorry but we have booked our seats to go to Wembley that day to watch a fantastic team play in the final. We have heard on the grapevine that they score lots of goals -
about 106 to date - and the whole of Europe is talking about them.

I don't see the need to rearrange this match at the swamp.

We could send a squad to play the Black Cats at Wembley and still have enough decent players left over to take three points at United on the same day.
Provided we don't play the same day because some might want to be at both games

Easily solved, tell them we will take them on either before, or after the Cup Final at Wembley, that way our fans can get to see both games, and at least they will be able to tell theirs that they played at Wembley (on CupFinal day), and because they play there so often, it almost felt like a home game!

Picture the scene at Wembley at Half Time :

Stadium announcer - "And now we have the half -time scores from todays Premier League matches...Manchester United 0 Manchester City 3"

I'm thinking 12.30 kick off Saturday 1March vs Rags:
Hart
Zab
Vinnie
Nasty
Kol
Ya Ya
Silva
Fern
Navas
Kun
Negredo

Then they'd have to leg it down to Wembley as some of them might be needed as subs the following day:
Sunday 2 March vs Sunderland
Pants
Richards
JLo
Mick
Clichy
Milner
Garcia
Rodwell
Lopes
Jovetic
Dzeko

Or maybe the two sides should be reversed as the rags would be the easier game, would welcome your views.

The funny thing about this is that can actually be done and we would walk away with 3 points and a trophy what a squad we have

Does anyone else find this constant mocking of united a bit untoward?

It's not like they ever dished it out to us in the past.

I know. The past 26 years, they've been nothing but respectful to all other clubs, fans of those clubs, the FA, Referees etc.

We should show some respect and know our place.

We riff-raff mocking our superiors? It's just not on!

I'd play the teams the other way around. It's Sunderland that beat our first team regularly, not the rags ;)
