Why so much complaining?

firstly, who we sold and bought could only be considered excellent business when we see the results and how the team play. other than that its an opinion.

in my opinion we have improved our wide player but with a 27 year old nearly man (just my opinion)

we have got rid of balotelli who when played, was played out wide rather than through the middle, we have lost tevez who although i think it was good business his work rate will be sorely missed. so up front we have 2 strikers instead of 4 to pick from because guidetti should in my opinion get loaned out and games under his belt.

mancini stifled our great players with his negative slow play.

i think up to now we are treading water from last year.

Agreed. Both incomings and outgoings so far have been excellent business, both in terms of playing strength and finances.

£30+ million for fernandinho definitely isn't 'excellent business'
How do you know?

Because no one else would have paid anywhere near that and in relation to other transfers it is way over priced. That's how I know

Fernandinho and Navas are upgrades on what we have/had, and that includes the PL winning team.

I reckon Negredo is a replacement for Dzeko and, whilst similar to Dzeko, I think, he looks more suited to the PL.

If we can sign some defensive cover and replace Tevez with someone who can play all across the front line - specifically on the left and up front I think it will have been an excellent summer.

But if we replace Tevez with Osvaldo then that would be a downgrade, even if Tevez isn't quite the player he was 18 months ago. Someone like Lamela or Di Maria (who can play that Bale role) would be more like it.

I am tired of this fucking "sheep" mentality.
If any one raises a question with any color or shade of negativity, people either call you a rag or a spoilt brat.

When we signed Fernandinho, i was happy as ever, but still i started a thread questioning if we chose the correct Brazilian, as Paulinho had a buy out clause of around 18€ million.
He is younger, hungry, on low wages and already had a starting spot for Brazil.

Thread got pulled down, because "give the lad a break" ????

Now i start a thread asking the question if we should try to start and walk before we run.
We cant already expect to pull A-list talents from the academy, it needs time and therefor we will need to buy A-list players in the future for BOTH sporting and marketing reasons.

I think Fernandinho is just as hungry mate but you're totally right - they've got a quality player for half the price and they'll get twice as long out of him. Fernandinho really had better be a crucial piece in the jigsaw because we've paid a fucking hell of a lot for him.

From what people are saying he's supposed to be the dogs so hopefully he WILL be a crucial piece in the jigsaw, but he's going to have to do a hell of a lot to justify that humongous fee for the 4/5 years we'll get out of him (unlike spurs, who could get 4 years out of Paulinho then sell him on for a small loss or most likely, a profit)

spurs have taken a gamble on a footballer that has never played in European football of any sort...

It makes perfect sense to me why we bought fernandinho and not Paulinho.

Right well you're clearly wasted in whatever it is you do, what with your obvious high end knowledge of football transfers. Wasted.

What do you people want? A Forum full of sheep telling each other how wonderful everything is? If you lot got your own way you'd all be bored shitless within five minutes, and piss off to another Forum. This Forum needs and thrives on people having opinions that swim against the tide and having the bollocks to express them. Jesus, a few short months ago those who had realised Mancini wasn't the right man for the job were getting abused on here by people who couldn't see the wood for the trees. Sinclair was a great signing last summer according to our resident 'experts'. Ditto Garcia. This isn't a Forum for cheerleading and sucking the club's cock. It's a Forum for fans to give their opinions, and in my opinion, Negredo isn't fit to lace Higuain's boots, and you can call me a spoilt brat all day if you like. I don't give a toss.
