Why so much complaining?

Im convinced those that always moan are either.

1) a rag
2)someone pretending to be a city fan
3) someone who has just started suppporting city.

it also seems to be the same posters everytime.

Posting that you must be a newcomer to the City fold mate, Ive supported them for 40 years and we have all moaned for every single one of them, what sets us apart is the fact that we still turn up and we stay loyal to our club no matter who plays, what the results are or what league we are in. Its hard being the best, most loyal fans in the world and it comes at a price, moaning is part of that, my old man is up there with the most loyal City fans I have ever met but fuck me when he gets going he can moan for the universe about his beloved club, come Saturday, Monday or whatever though, he tucks the season ticket card into his wallet and trots off to support his team as fervently as any City fan there has ever been. Let the lads moan, as long as they support the mighty blues who cares, they are entitled to their opinion after all, are they not...

PS my old man is moaning like fuck at the moment because he reckons we have let Cavani slip through the net... ya gotta love him..!!

What do you people want? A Forum full of sheep telling each other how wonderful everything is? If you lot got your own way you'd all be bored shitless within five minutes, and piss off to another Forum. This Forum needs and thrives on people having opinions that swim against the tide and having the bollocks to express them. Jesus, a few short months ago those who had realised Mancini wasn't the right man for the job were getting abused on here by people who couldn't see the wood for the trees. Sinclair was a great signing last summer according to our resident 'experts'. Ditto Garcia. This isn't a Forum for cheerleading and sucking the club's cock. It's a Forum for fans to give their opinions, and in my opinion, Negredo isn't fit to lace Higuain's boots, and you can call me a spoilt brat all day if you like. I don't give a toss.
ok

Spoilt brat ;)
Seriously though you're right, I'm happy with Navas n Fernandinho but when they came in nice n early I felt like a lot of others that we was going to learn from last years window and go all out and tie up cavani, considering Mancini saying we were close to a deal last year....I think negredo will be a good signing, scoring 25 last year and racking up half Sevilles goal tally for the year (according to SSN). Football is all about opinions, but on here if anything is said that is deemed to be anti city by the forum police they're all over it like a tramp on hot chips! IN MY OPINION if we add negredo, or higuian, Pepe and a LM like Lamela or Di Maria we are ready to go, nasri can't possibly play as poorly as last year n we have the likes of marco Lopez n Dennis Suarez pushing for a squad place.
...maybe even take a chance on bruma for pace n directness.

People need to realise we won't be pursuing a galactico policy like Real Madrid did. It will be about how players fit into the style and adapt to it.

The Isco transfer should also have demosntrated what I've always said, which is that transfers are a minefield and simply because we want someone and they want to come, doesn't mean that will happen.

I haven't looked but I'm sure there are posts in 2008 saying "Who the fuck is Vincent Kompany?"

I am tired of this fucking "sheep" mentality.
If any one raises a question with any color or shade of negativity, people either call you a rag or a spoilt brat.

When we signed Fernandinho, i was happy as ever, but still i started a thread questioning if we chose the correct Brazilian, as Paulinho had a buy out clause of around 18€ million.
He is younger, hungry, on low wages and already had a starting spot for Brazil.

Thread got pulled down, because "give the lad a break" ????

Now i start a thread asking the question if we should try to start and walk before we run.
We cant already expect to pull A-list talents from the academy, it needs time and therefor we will need to buy A-list players in the future for BOTH sporting and marketing reasons.

Paulinho had a starting spot cos he actually played in Brasil, home players kept the crowd more partizan for the Confed cup..

Well he justified his position at the Con fed cup for sure.
And to those saying he haven't proven anything i Europe, get your heads out of your ass.
Paulinho is clearly a talent and he isn't scared to get dirty, he shut down Spain's midfield, European proven or not, almost none has done that.

Neymar isn't proven in Europe also, yet people were banging their drums at the thought of City getting him, even if the price were €80 million

Sheik Monsoor took over City on 31-08-2008, as an experiment it would be interesting to compare the views of different posters simply on the date of their joining this forum ie those whose joined pre the take over and those that joined after the takeover. To see whether posters who joined after the takeover are mainly the ones screaming like toddlers for A class signings, or whether the opposite is true or in fact it's an equal mixture of both.

Think we've done superb so far, especially if we land Negredo for a fair sum. Am coming around on Pepe, too, for another fair sum, if he can get rid of the dirty part of his game

Other than that, Lescott and Aleks to leave, possibly Barry and Dzeko, promotion of a few starlets to the main squad... can't wait to get this season underway. Hell, even preseason games will be a welcome change from the drudgery these days.
