in fairness i had no interest in italian football while he was there and still don't so have no idea, all i am saying is i think all the english clubs would not have qualified from our group, still disappointed with our performances but it wasn't the disaster everyone is saying

Footballing wise it's not disaster to not pass through that group but I'm not sure power that are are too much interested in that wisdom after same thing happened last year. Footballing wise too only 3 points collected is embarrassing. It's one thing to no pass through, it's other to finish very bottom without single win.

So, when you put all that together, footballing stuff and the fact that big money has been lost again (both from UEFA awards and increased brand image) I think it's safe to say it's some sort of bloody disaster.
