Mancini's a bottler now... Comedy gold.
There's a quote from Ibrahimovic to prove it. What more do you want?

Well if ibrahimovic says it then that’s it we may as well sack him now.

It’s very, very simple. In the two and a half seasons he’s been with us we have won the FA cup, qualified for the champions league each season, won the premier league and at least reached the final of the FA cup this season.
Now that is irrefutable, cast iron fact.

If you don’t think that’s enough to save his job then I disagree.
But what I would ask is, if you don’t think it’s enough to save his job, what is?
Would we need to win the league each season? That’s simply not going to happen at any club in any league in the world.
Do we need to need get out of the group stage of the champions league? If so, are you saying that getting to the quarter final is worthy of keeping a manager? Semi final? Final? I couldn’t care less whether we go out in the group stage or quarter final. It’s a cup – you either win it or you’re nowhere.

You can question managers over specific games – i agree mancini had a shocker yesterday. But I would counter that by saying ferguson’s tactical performance in the title decider at the etihad last season was absolutely woeful. He got it totally wrong and was found badly, badly wanting. It doesn’t mean he’s a bad manager because you look at the trophies he’s won and that tells the real story. In the same way the fact mancini has won a trophy in every single season he’s been a manager and for someone in his late 40s that’s a quite brilliant feat.

Judge a manager by what he wins. Trophy cabinets don’t lie.

Maybe we want to conquer the world and not only England mate?

Even Redknapp's won a cup competition. Birmingham won the League Cup a couple of seasons ago and got relegated.

So the only trophies that really count for a great manager are League & European. 2 of the 4 league titles he won really don't count and the other two his teams surrendered decent leads to scrape it on the last day. In Europe he's done the square root of fuck all.

PB defo on a roll, but I think it maybe slightly wasted with some :)

Heart tends to oversee logic - Tunnel vision
I'm sure I saw a stat the other day that said his Inter Milan side had wrapped up the Scudetti in record time with him at the helm one season
Oh,well, truth, story,in the way and all that.

It is verry far fetched to say that domestic cups means shite. But i see where you came from.

Facts are Mancini has been allowed to spend a shite load of money in order to
build a D O M I N A T I N G team.
Facts are it is tough being an MCFC supporter while people spit at your face " you bought the league with such indecent amount of money spent ".
When Mourinho was in charge of Chelsea, his money was spent well and his team was F E A R E D in the pitch and delivered the goods.

Bye Bobby, it was great till it lasted, but we need to switch gears and bring in someone who will make that paradagme shift for us.

United win title with 4 games to spare. I feel lethargic right now.

Some of the shit on here about not being bothered, I mean what in the fuck is that? Those bastards are our rivals and they have have the title, I feel raged right now that we have put up no fight at all. To say otherwise is bollocks. We should all be vexed with the lack of fight shown, manager and players, this is unacceptable, fair enough it's not happening each year but we should at least be threatening the bastards rather than telling them cruise. We are stronger from GK, DEF, MID and 50/50 in attack (Tevez and Aguero are as good as Rooney and RVP imo). What we have seen simply isn't good enough.

At least we were in the mix Nip. That's why I can take this one on the chin. #andonwego.

Keep the faith and hopefully lessons from this season have been learned. Even though I have my doubts on Mancini, I don't think he will be replaced in the Summer.

We are second by definition but we were off the pace by Feb to be honest mate. Life goes on but I still feel we've been firing on 3 cylinders.

In the mix imo is still in the hunt with a few games to go and close to 80 points.

We're closer to Everton than United... hardly in the mix. It's been a shameful defence of our title, some will make excuses but it truly has.

The lessons are to strengthen rather than rest on laurels but fact of matter is we can't sell if people don't want to pay the going rate. If we over pay in fees and wage then moving players on is always an uphill task. Adebayor is case in point.

The only upside is that our board will see the gap and push harder than maybe they would have if we were say 2 points off United come end of season.

We will have the biggest summer out of English clubs imo, I hope anyway!

Calm down man.Leeds were near the relegation zone when they defended their title 20 years ago.I agree though we have been poor.
