Why we will win the league!

Wolves last game? I suspect resting players for cup final

Even if they don’t rest players, those on the field won’t be putting in the 100%, minds elsewhere on the final next week and also no one would want to get injured there just before a final ... so perhaps Watford doing them in the semi would be better for us two fold, easier final and them hvaing their last hurrah at Anfield itself, no final to look to.

You may be right but I suspect if Liverpool need to win at home the last game of the season to win the league they will. However fingers crossed it’s the net spend trophy they are given

And Newcastle ....imo

If they go into the Newcastle game as league leaders, we can safely say they'll manage to get it over the line. In fact I'll go as early as Matchweek 34 when they play Chelsea. If they're top after that, it's like having one hand on the trophy with the remaining games being Cardiff(A), Huddersfield, NewCastle(A) and Wolves.

If we win the league this season it will be a staggering achievement. The fixture congestion is horrific, we have 4 key players out injured, 2 of whom (Mendy & KDB) are likelier to be rustier than the hull of the Graf Spee if/when they do come back, there are some stinker fixtures against bus parking counter attackers (the rags, Palace, Leicester), and as we saw at the weekend there are one or two squad members that we just can't rely on in the heat of battle. The dippers meanwhile have Gomes out......and, er that's it. Win it and for me it will outrank what the Centurions did last season

But yesterday we had more points than them a slip up doesn’t mean a defeat

nope, it doesn't. i still find it amazing that people can make such bold claims about teams slipping up or losing and believe themselves as if it's gospel! this has entered the stage of unpredictable hasnt it?

Liverpool are not winning every single game i dont know why everyone sees us slipping up but not them
Quite simple: The media.

Like it our not it seeps into people’s subconcious; Liverpool for a fact are super completely infallible whilst we can still be got at. These are the media’s projection and that’s the way people see it.

Come off it. Decided with four matches to play?

but that isn't universal is it?

i for one am a bit worried as Liverpool have lost only once this season, to us away. Their home record this season is W13 D2 L0. And they've never looked as steady in previous seasons as they have this one, granted they've had a few draws thrown in recently which has been a very welcome sight. We've shown, on a couple of occasions, that we can pluck random shitty defeats out of thin air (home or away) even in a good run, so that is grounds for the more nervous of us to feel that we could do it again.

i know City finish strongly but these injuries, the United away game and the flood of fixtures is a huge challenge!! the meedja can say what they like.
