Both potential banana skins, no one would have predicted City would have lost to Newcastle with the relegation battle they are in so Everton will be just as dangerous. Higuain could be trouble up top for Chelsea too with our two centre backs being bullied off Rondon on one occasion last week.

Difference being Newcastle think they're in a relegation fight Everton don't but I agree it's not to be taken lightly. Not so much worried about Hig's physical threat but fuck me he's sharp as a tack in the box even allowing for him being a bit ring rusty.
 
Finally injuries are catching up to Liverpool.

Our squad's best 11 is better than any other club in the league - but the biggest advantage we have over our adversaries - is depth; we're by far the deepest squad.

Over a 38-game season PL with multiple other cups to contend for - squad depth is key to winning titles. It's a miracle that Liverpool are ahead of us IMO.

To be fair to them they're trying really hard to offset the lack of depth by being shit in the cups ;)
 
Because I believe we wont. Just having banter with City please dont darken the tone only a laugh. Still want you lot over the City of self pity regardless of what you say.
 
It would be quite the statement if they bowed out of Europe and still bottled the league to us playing in all competitions. Especially if we can add another trophy or two on top of it.
 
Should I start the "Why we will win the Quad!" thread as well ... or too early? ;-)

it was only a few weeks ago on here when lots of posters were having a meltdown and saying liverpool weren't going to drop any points and we had no chance...... just shows how early in the season it is really and no team is not going to drop points.
 
can you imagine if we won the lot oil money owned by a country etc etc the bitterness would be wonderfull to behold
 
Wonder what the table would look like with the correct penalty and offside decisions. We’d only be 2 points better (Wolves) that I can think of, but Liverpool would be so much worse off.
