Why we will win the league!

Think I could just about stomach another Aguero moment, 0-0 at Brighton til the 90th minute with the Sky cameras showing the Dippers 3-0 up, celebrating like lunatics, giving it the big un, only for Bernado to slip a ball through for Sterling to smash it into the roof of the net from 20 yrs out.....oh could you imagine the frothing at the mouth from the gimps
My stomach is dropping just thinking of it going to the last day let alone the above...

I'm just glad it's in City's hands, however nail biting it is for us, they have it worse.

Needing the other team to drop points, with so few games left must be so draining. If we beat Spurs at the weekend, it makes the United game a nightmare for them. If we come out on top after those games, I think that will affect them no matter what Klopp says.

I want both us and Liverpool to win our remaining matches. And we pip them by a point.

Look at how the media think it is nearly theirs. Hardly a mention that we have a game in hand. Hardly a mention if we win out then what they do is irrelevant.

Liverpool players, their staff, their fans, the media will be going every week thinking the next game is the one we slip up and hand them the league.

And there will be no better way to silence them for one more week by just turning up, winning and go home.

Then we reach the final day. Like in 2012 when the other lot thought something miraculous will happen. But this time we make light work of it. 3-0 up by the 60th minute at Brighton. The title is ours.

And there's nothing they can do about it.
Did you hear the shear unbridled joy in Martin Vilers voice when Mane scored ? Then Spit the dog screaming down the microphone. Then cue Dalglish in the stands going mental on the 2nd goal. It was absolutely gut wrenchingly biased . Horrible bastards the lot of em!

May the footballing gods make it so ...

So many said on here how Soton, Spurs, Chelsea will be games where Liverpool drops points wonder what they say now maybe Cardiff and Huddersfield will shake them up?

Its all about our results, and about handling the pressure. The only fact imo is that both clubs handled the huge pressure troughout February-March and April so far in fantastic way winning some games without playing well thats mark of Champions and we did it some games and Pool did it some games.

The the real pressure starts now for us. 5 more league games to win and just one game with a draw and its 97 points for them 96 for us. Even tho imo a 4-1-0 record from last 5 games with 3 being away games is a good return usually given the fixture list.

Immense season as the 2nd placed team will finish around 95-97 points. Unreal and so unlucky to have a rival like that in exactly that season. We only had one PL season with more than 97points Liverpool never had a PL season like this. And one of us gonna lose it crazy.

How are you drawing such a conclusion?

If we beat Spurs in the Cl we go through.

The dips will see to Porto so they will also go through.

Going through makes absolutely no difference to the league situation.

Exactly as you say other than as it stands we are less likely to progress in the CL. The lack of away goal concerns me regarding the second leg. One daft free kick such as today and we will be needing to score three goals to go through. Should it go tits up this week it would leave us with just league games to worry about and hence I suspect we will win all five.

I have said all season that which ever team goes furthest in the CL will fall short in the league and still think that might be the case.

I think it will make a telling difference if we go out/or they somehow do and we go through.

A two legged semi final against either Barcelona or Juventus make it far less likely that the respective teams would be able to get maximum points in what may on paper be easy league games.`
