It's been a decent 4 months.

We've been under a lot of pressure all season but the pressure in the run in from the Spurs game on has been immense. We have had the harder run in and Liverpool and their supporters would have been expecting us to slip up somewhere along the way, as we have been them. However, we've come through ungrazed and here we are at the final hurdle in a great position.
The point of my post is that we have had the greater pressure up to now and come through, but what do people think the pressure on Liverpool must be like for the final game?
And although they are at home, will the crowd help or hinder by adding pressure on their team at a crucial time?

If we can have 20 attempts v Brighton we will get the two goals we need to relax a little......
Morale must be low at anfield....if we can score early and news gets to anfield desperation and despair will open all kinds of spaces for a quality wolves side to exploit.....I actually think Liverpool will lose this one.
HOW must it feel right now...on the edge of elimination from CL and premier league almost gone after a wonderful season...
Morale is absolutely everything"...
At least they WILL win team of the year. Manager of the year and have the best front 3 in world football and best fullbacks and a world class centre back.....Ho and a goalie who has had an exceptional season.

We only have the community shield, carabao cup, premier league ( probably) and FA cup ( maybe) to console us!
May be it will be OUR year next year....PEP out.

And all year before every gameweek by pretty much every pundit or news outlet or tv or radio we've heard the spiel that their defense is why they are up there and our defence is still questionable and can be got at ...

As it stands:

Clean Sheets: Best GK in the world (Alison) 20 | Our not so great defensively keeper (Ederson): 20
Goals Against: Best defense in the world marshaled by best of the best Virgin Van Dick: 22 | Our leaky defense: 22

After they've played Wolves and we've played Brighton, I expect we'd be better off in both of these defensive stats ... and then will wait to hear about these particular defense comparison in year end reviews.

The last ten games in particular have been defined by brilliant defending (that starts with your attack). It's like running a gauntlet where there are five or six waves of defending that you have to get through in order to get a shot away, and I'd love to see someone smarter than me analyse it because it has gone under the radar but it seems to work in a similar way to how we pass insofar as there always seems to be a spare man for the press meaning there are three lines of press before you even get into our half? But the Bournemouth no shots on or off or target is a standout, but no corners conceded in the last two games, Burnley no shots on target, United one shot on target etc etc. They're unreal stats.

That table is scary not only because Liverpool had the chance to move 10 points clear of us ... but also because Chelsea & Arsenal were breathing down our necks.

Even Utd were only 3 wins behind.

And that was into the second half of the season XXXX
48 points from a possible 51 since, nearly on a par with our 55 from the first 57 available at the start of last season. That average over a full season would get us 107 points or so.

The dippers have gotten 41/51 in that time period, extrapolate that to a full season and it's about 92 points.
