Why we will win the league!

I still back us to score more points than them over the last 10 games of the season, especially given both run ins are fairly similar, do that and the title is ours.

Over the last 7 seasons there is only one when they have scored more points than us over the last 10 games of the season, funnily enough 2013/14 when they had a good run but ultimately only took 4 points from the last 9. We have outscored them in 4 and both got the same number of points in the other 2.

Given the pressure they will start to feel and with the season catching up with their players i just can't see them matching our points haul over the last 10 games.

I think the bastards have got to go as far as we do in the Champions League for us to win it.

I think they’d nick an away goal in Bayern and get through on a scored draw or a narrow 1 goal margin ...

Then draw us in QF again ;) and the hysteria will drown them in both CL and PL this season ... we won’t be bullied this time around in CL and that’d knock any wind from their sails in whatever is left!

Funny you should bring up that scenario of getting them in the last 8 or 4 of the CL, I had been chewing over the thought such a thing might actually swing it in our favour and I think you are right.

So tough to call. Our run in, on paper, is more difficult. Particularly our away games. But you cannot underestimate the desire of others to see Liverpool fail. Most neutrals want Liverpool to fail and you know Chelsea will want to go to Anfield and destroy their title chances. You know Everton will want to do the same at Goodison on Sunday.

Equally, you know Rafa will make Newcastle roll for them and you know the rags will actually be more than happy to lose to us, and miss out on the top 4 even, if it means us winning the title over Liverpool.

Let's just focus on beating Bournemouth and adding more pressure on Liverpool ahead of the derby. Then let's hope that Goodison crowd get their team fighting to beat them. They are long overdue a win over Liverpool. This weekend would be a great time for it.

Will likely be a situation with games in hand on them again and pressure will be all on Liverpool. We have been there and done it. They haven't.

The club seem to have asked a couple of people to put some soundbites out about how tense and nervous Liverpool will be, saw one from Sterling yesterday and one from Zaba on BBC today

Calm the fuck down everyone ... it's happening ... when this thread started they had a chance to go 7 clear and couldn't ... and I quoted what I said WHILE watching them play us at Etihad ... how they all were behaving, their coach, their players ... and their fans ... collectively they'd bottle it ... signs were there when they had a chance to go 10 clear and where are they today? Just 1 clear ... so calm down, it's all going exactly as expected!

This will be the second trophy we'd be lifting ... knowing we're in the final of the third (FA Cup) and semis of the fourth (CL) ... save this, bookmark it ... come back to me in mid April!
Like it, you’re not ‘mystic mag’ are you

Yes, RAWKs reaction to Sterling is priceless. Sterling effectively said the pressure from the Never Alone Walking Dead at Klanfield had an adverse effect on the players, reinterpreted by the scouse intellectuals to mean that's because they're real fans! And he feels no pressure from us, the plastic empty seats, coz we're not.

Self awareness is not a Murkysiders strong suit.

The 'real fans' comment was probably posted by someone who's never been to Anfield.
