Why we will win the league!

The thought of playing Liverpool in the league, FA cup and CL is sort of ruining my season
Well it’s the thought of losing to them in all 3 really

Totally agree.

This City team is the best team that has ever graced English football. This team would beat any other team from any other era over a season. I'd say that this Liverpool team are probably the second best.

Both teams are absolutely exceptional and whoever wins the title fully deserves it whether it's us or them.

I do think there's going to be a few more twists to the tale though. IF Liverpool beat us, Villa away (Gerrard), United, Everton (Derby games are unpredictable), Newcastle away (they always raise it for big teams), Spurs and Southampton (capable of beating anyone on the day) they deserve it. Simple as that. Personally, I don't think they will - they are playing too many teams who will give them a hard game.

I'd much rather a season went down to the last game of the season, it's just more exciting! I know it's not good for the nerves, but football HAS to be exciting for me! The last few games of a season are fairly dull once we've won it.

I think we will win the league, but we have to accept that we're going to be pushed to the limit.

We need to really up our game though mate because atm we are nowhere near good enough to go head to head with them . This isn’t 3 years ago when we had vinny David silva and ferdy and kun all going for the he killl . If we find our shooting boots then we can go on a run and win every game but it’s a big ask .

You're right, we're not at our best... but our best is literally "perfect" where we win 19 games on the trot! It's almost impossible to do that every season :)

Pep is a genius and he will know full well what the problems are and I wouldn't be surprised to see us change something about and win every game this season.

I just hope the club realise that we need a striker this summer. I hope we go big and get Haaland, but we need a back up as well. I'd still go for Ings as I don't think we need to play Haaland every game - he'd more than able to finish the chances when we play Burnley, Watford etc. I'd also be tempted to look around Europe at players like Lewandowski, Benzema etc - players who are quality who could do a job for a season and who'd offer something a bit different. We desperately need some proper strikers!!
 
I'd rather go through a 'rough spell' as City have done here, then peak for the run-in. Remember last season when the team form fell away towards the end of the campaign (plus individuals like Rodri), culminating in a limp showing in the CL final? Much rather it was the other way around and I have a feeling it will be. It's almost impossible to maintain excellent form all season and I feel pretty confident the team will start to build momentum again.

Liverpool have put a great run together, if they win it will be no shame on City. Difficult to keep it going over a longer period though.
 
We’ve got some very tricky games on paper, but Liverpool have more I’d say. If we beat them at the etihad, I think they’ll drop points in a couple more games. I also don’t think it’s a title decider as such, there’s still plenty of games to drop points in.

Can’t bare tight title races, especially against Liverpool. They still haven’t had a trophy parade from a couple of seasons ago, let’s keep it that way. I also want to win it this season so we go into next with the chance of winning three on the bounce.
 
Be a treble can make us be the truly best team in England football history and UCL can let us be one of the best team in the world. This season is the best chance ever.
