Why wont Bobby learn english?

"It is important we work hard and play a good game. This is football. Only this.".

Give a slightly arrogant gallic-type shrug whilst rolling your eyes then rearrange those words in whatever order you like and hey presto: You are Mancini.

As long as he says a damn sight more than that to the players it doesn't really matter I suppose.

If you thought Bobby sounded the same now as he was when he first arrived, you gotta listen again.

His english is a lot better than my Italian! I think it has got much better and his comedy side has shown a lot more recently with toungue in cheek comments. The man is a class act. Does Wenger speak perfect english after 15 years managing arsenal? No.

Probably it's just me since I'm not English, but as a foreigner I find Bobby speaks clearer English than Baconface. Baconface's accent was too thick for us to handle.

Thats not his accent thats just his drunken slur.

Let me tell you what I've noticed; in the last couple of interviews by Sky, I have not heard the interpreter in the background, to whom RM occasionally glances over to. He is slow in his delivery, often, as an English reporter wants quick replies.

The interpreter was there post match last night.

But he wasn't there pre-match. Have you considered he wanted clarity of question since there was a lot that went on in the match??

You said you'd not heard the interpreter in recent Sky interview, and I pointed out he was there last night. If Mancini wanted clarity on the questions as a lot went on, then that's the point of this thread. His ability to understand and communicate in English.

I should clarify, then. Barring the interview AFTER the game(which I did NOT hear), in the last couple of interviews that I heard, he had not used an interpreter that I noticed.

Satisfied??
