Why would anyone boo Samaras?

I was in East Stand second tier and all I heard was applause when his name was read out and likewise when he went off so I suggest this was a tiny minority and not at all representative of the City fans as a whole

I understand why Samaras said the things he said when he left City. The lad got booed week in week out by his own fans who never gave him a chance, he is human so had a bit of a pop when he left. If you going to give it out, then you got to be able to take it when a player gives it back.
I hated the way some City fans treated him when he was at City, I have no idea why they think booing guys in a blue shirt is going to help????? Probably the same people that booed Goater and Ireland, however both those players had the mental strength and were given time to turn it around. Some are already slating Ade for his performances in pre-season, it was starting with Big Phil last season. We have to stop this and get behind them all if we are going to be succesful.
Hate to say this cos it means giving the red scum some credit - but look how they supported Forlan when he couldn't hit a barn door.

M.J. is lined up for it and he hasnt even left yet. But you cant criticize it because we live in a so-called democracy and everyone is allowed a voice.Anyway whats the harm,just because it makes all City fans look brain-dead louts with no class whatsoever,doesnt mean it should not happen.A parasite can only exist on the body of a host,unfortunately normal fans are the hosts and as long as they survive so will the parasites.Knowing they are sickening people is the reason it goes on,and will continue.

Fuck me, this sudden absolute, moral outrage at City fans, by City fans is fucking ridiculous!
I still cant understand him getting booed. My statement on Pearce was that he played him out of position and continually substituted him or started him on the bench and then gave him 15 minutes for the idiots to boo him. Was it surprising he spouted off when he finally got away from city?
