Why would anyone boo Samaras?

Speaking of this there was a bloke sat behind me and my girlfriend in the first half, on his own, next to a family of 4 with two kids. Anytime someone got the ball, mostly our own players, it was "Ben-Haim you're sh*t you f*cking asylum seeker" or "Go back home f*cking Abedayor (he couldn't pronounce any names longer than 2 syllables) you're sh*t".

This was when we were attacking towards the south stand so we (in the north stand) were nowhere near the players anyway. What a tool. Luckily he pissed off for the second half, don't know where he went. I just don't know why people like this go to games.

His best line was aimed at Mizuno (Japanese Celtic player) - He shouted;

"F*ck off you f*cking Chinese pr*ck. F*ck off back to China" (then loudly to himself) "F*cking worse than the Germans them Chinese".

There are so many errors there, ethnically and historically haha.

I must say I booed Samaras' name when it was called out but it was a cheeky boo, not an aggressive one. During the match I just stayed quiet, silently hoping that he didn't score against us. I gave him a clap when he was subbed though.

I never slagged him off when he was here, he struggled in a really shite defensive side, but the stuff he said about us when he left was not called for.

Lazy, not enough desire or ability!!

Anyone who boo's him is probably of the same opinion!

In the Goat's book it mentions about during a spell when it was all going wrong,how he chased a ball he had absolutely no right to win and the fans all stood and applauded.

In that moment he the realised what the fans wanted to see,and how they would forgive anything if a player gave his all despite his shortcomings-a 100% effort.
He never looked back.

I can put up with shit players no problem.We've seen loads at City in my time.
And Samaras did get a raw deal from Pearce.
But what I can't put up with is lazy little twats more concerned about messing their hair up than actually getting stuck in-then giving it the "big one" in the press after leaving us to got to the equivalent of league one.
