I was gutted! When Arsenal scored I stared angrily at the screen. It's still there though, 3rd I mean. We just need Arsenal to slip up and us carry on winning.
You are right though of course, EVERY City fan should have wanted a United win today, however some just can't put their hatred to one side, even for the benefit of City. I remember seeing a poster on here saying he/she would rather us get relegated than United win anything. I class that type of person as not a City fan, but a United hater.

No it doesn't, it means we can't slip up in the qualifiers because we won't be in them. Not sure how true it is, (not looked into it), but a rag friend of mine has it in his head we could face Bayern Munich in the qualifiers.

true i missed that advantage, but im not the type of Real city fan that thinks we are making up the numbers and dont deserve to be in with a chance of beating the best ;)

i would happily take 4th so long as united don't win the league. the thought of a european qualifier in romania or hungary sounds brilliant and if united were to win nothing this season it would make the semi-final viictory even sweeter.

Sorry, but thats nonsense thinking. Who cares what they win? If we don't win the league, who cares who else wins it? City finishing in 3rd, missing the qualifiers, is what any City should want because we all know a slippery banana skin is nigh if we go into those qualifiers. If United beating Arsenal assists that, that is a good thing, regardless of whether or not it lands them the title. It should be City that we all think of and what is best for us, not worried about what United win.
