That flag has been all over the place and never once has anything like that been suggested. There are many flags with other towns/areas on (as there was today) that are not stolen. I think that this has been targeted by an opportunist nobhead.

Disgraceful, not to sound like I'm high and mighty and smug superior, but as part of a tightly-knit fanbase you'd think our fans wouldn't stoop to such a level.

Don't be fooled, we have our fair share of arsehole fans just like everyone else.

Thats out of order, I am a Wigan blue and have seen that flag around at home and away,I was proud to see fellow blues from my town supporting City. Hope you get it back mate.

Horrible bastards whoever they are.
They should be NAMED AND SHAMED like that Rag Teese.
Ask for some info from SFC as no doubt like ourselves CCTV cameras would have been on us (away fans) all through the match and after.
Brilliant if you find them and lets get them banned for life from COMS.
