Kompany is a doubt for the game. See training report on Mancitynet
Oh FFS.
How many more defenders are we gonna have out/banged up?

Those hacks who kept on bleating about the number of international players we have "when will they get a game" don't look so smart now, do they?

Our depth of defenders and DM's will prevent too much grief at the back.

Credit RM for his squad building here.

If Kompany fails to make it, i would prefer to see Boyota at centre back. Surely Milner will play in midfield...somewhere, as he is the type of battler we need for games like this and was rested midweek.

If VK fails to make it put Richards at CB ( his best position) and Zab at RB.

IF VK is out, I'd have Lescott or Boyata ahead of Micah at CB.

Lescott and Toure seem well matched on paper. One big old lump, one ball winner, one lefty, one righty.

Boyata fills me with confidence but I'd want him alongside Kompany, Dedrick and Boyata lack a little height between them. Micah would have to go alongside Lescott, or you have two ball winners likely to break the line.

now that Bridge is back, he can overlap, freeing Milner up to attack the central areas.

I started off with Zab at RB but he might be needed to replace Bridge, who isn't quite fit yet. If he has to go off, it's better to make one change, than two.

whatever. all I know is, it's a MWG, and we probably (hopefully) will get a good result.

2-0 city, fourth by the end of the day?

Fair point on Milner.. Probably get brought in for Silva?

I agree with kippaxblue76 on Richards at CB though.

I wouldn't be that surprised if Kompany plays anyway to be honest..

But isn't Lescott injured?

ahh, yeah. I assumed he was just dropped for Bridge midweek. But the training reports mentioned his absence. Bridge too, allegedly.

soo......

Richards-Toure-Boyata-Zab

it is then.

At the begining of the season i was looking forward to games against the 'lower placed teams' but up to now its been no different from last season, hanging on either 0-0 or 1-1 and hopeing we can scrape a point or not give away stupid goals in the last minutes,it wasnt supposed to be like this. What happens today if we get a draw or lose, cant keep blaming teams putting 10 men behind the ball cause this must surely happen with chelsea, the arse ,ect and they seem to manage to find a way round it
