Wigan v CITY - Official Match Thread.

3 points!!!

Clubs with top 4 aspirations (let alone Championship aspirations) need to march into Wigan and record a victory.

I really don't care how they do it, the job just needs to get done.
 
Blips against Blackburn/Sunderland. Only one point out of six is not good enough. Even though we should have had all six but for poor finishing.

We must win on Sunday, we need to hang around the top six of the table at least while the players gel/get fit.
 
I just want a win to kick start our season

no excuses like:

they are a bogey team
we are away
they put 10 men behind the ball
the referee was corrupt/wrong/made bad decisions

play two upfront and attack them properly for god's sake

AJ is probably my favourite player but on the other hand I'd be a bit gutted to see Silva dropped!

i hope RM doesnt revert to this system.....we were a mcu more effective attacking unit vs saltzburg with two forward on instead of tevez being isolated upfron on his own (which is what the above system leads to

i dont rate Jo but id rather him play than play that system (Im not sure why RM wont give RSc a go either as if he is on the bench then surely he is fit to play?)
