Fair enough, my mistake, but there's a difference between submitting squad sheets and changing shirt numbers.

Thought we would have heard things early today as he's off to meet the Ivory Coast so obviously not as advanced as the media made out.

Why not? Transfers take along time even if its at an advanced stage, not to mention the medical which takes hours and on top of that he has to do the whole tour and media shoot, interviews etc...

True. We should get it all tied up behind the scenes but tactically delay it until end of month so Swansea continue paying him. Potentially save us £250,000. FFP and all that!!
